Pete Rumsey, Associate Vice President for Economic Development, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of Rhode Island and Chief Business Development Officer at the URI Research Foundation, will join a panel discussion at the 3rd Annual NEMIC (New England Medical Innovation Center) and Innovate Newport Industry Spotlight Series: HealthTech.
The event will highlight Rhode Island’s growing innovation ecosystem, with panelists sharing perspectives on collaboration, emerging opportunities, and the resources supporting entrepreneurs and industry partners across the region.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear startup pitches, connect with local innovators, and engage with service providers during networking over refreshments.
